FOSTER WANTS HER KIDS TO DIRECT

JODIE FOSTER wants her children to join her in the movie business - but as directors instead of actors.
The actress insists she would never ban her two sons, Charles, nine, and Kit, six, from following in her footsteps - but she would rather they worked behind the camera, and she is already teaching them tricks of the trade.
Foster tells AOL movies, "If they begged and begged and begged (to act), I would understand. I try to get them interested in the technical side of filmmaking.
"I say, 'I wonder how they did that. Do you think they did it with a blue screen?'
"I try to get them interested in lenses or just de-mystifying it (filmmaking) a little bit for them. It's a beautiful business. I want them to love films, but I want them to be on the side of it that I think, in some ways, can be the most rewarding."
