FORMAN STAGING OPERA IN CZECH REPUBLIC
Oscar-winning director MILOS FORMAN is staging an opera in his native Czech Republic.
The Amadeus filmmaker, 75, is bringing jazz opera A Walk Worthwhile to the Czech National Theater in Prague. The show opens on Sunday (22Apr07).
The production was written in the 1960s by Czech writers Jiri Suchy and Jiri Slitr. Forman made a TV movie version of the opera in 1966.
