FORD HAS NO REGRETS OVER CONNERY'S INDIANA ABSENCE

INDIANA JONES star HARRISON FORD has no regrets over SIR SEAN CONNERY's absence from the fourth installment of the movie franchise - insisting they "don't need" him.
Connery played the intrepid adventurer's father, Dr. Henry Jones Sr., in third movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - and fans had hoped the Scottish star would reprise his role for the forthcoming Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
But the former James Bond star was not involved in the project and Ford insists the film will be just as successful without Connery.
He says, "We don't need Sean. I'm old enough to play my own father.
"I would have loved to have had Sean back. But I think he prefers golf to acting nowadays and probably makes more (money)."
