RUTGER HAUER beat HARRISON FORD's face to a bloody pulp on the set of BLADE RUNNER - on the Hollywood star's insistence. Hauer was stunned by Ford's brave commitment to the cult 1982 film, especially when he demanded the Dutch actor attack him for real in a brutal fight scene. He tells British magazine Empire, "I hurt him. That was also the first time I had an experience like that, where an actor's like, 'You know, there's nothing you can do to fake this, you just gotta do it. Stick your fingers up my nose...'
