FONSI'S WIFE TOLD SHE CAN'T HAVE KIDS FOR FIVE YEARS

Puerto Rican singer LUIS FONSI has to wait five years until he can start a family with his wife after she was advised not to conceive while undergoing breast cancer treatment. Fonsi and his bride Adamari Lopez are desperate to have kids, but her cancer fight has scuppered their plans to start immediately. Lopez tells Puerto Rican newspaper El Vocero, "It will happen when God wants and when the doctors say. The doctor says I have to wait five years. "If I feel healthy, I could stop my treatment and try it, but it would run a risk (sic)." Actress Lopez was diagnosed with breast cancer this summer (07) and has undergone chemotherapy. She admits her health crisis has given her a new outlook on life: "I want to attend to the most precious thing in the world, my husband... We want to enjoy ourselves as husband and wife."
