FLOWERS WANTS TO HELP BRITISH BANDS BREAK AMERICA
THE KILLERS frontman BRANDON FLOWERS is such a huge fan of British guitar bands he is giving leading lights RAZORLIGHT and KASABIAN tips on how to make it big in America. The SAM'S TOWN star is set to record a cover of DIRE STRAITS' ROMEO AND JULIET with Razorlight singer JOHNNY BORRELL for upcoming British TV show LIVE AT ABBEY ROAD. And Flowers hopes his countrymen will come to appreciate the British bands as much as he does. He says, "Kasabian are great live and when I hear them and Razorlight I think hopefully it'll happen for them in the States. "A lot of people get intimidated when they go somewhere so big. We're lucky we're from there and have English influences so we have the best of both worlds."
