FLO RIDA SORRY FOR AXED GIGS
Rapper FLO RIDA has apologised to his fans for scrapping a string of gigs in Canada.
The Low hitmaker was scheduled to perform in Nanaimo, British Columbia earlier this month (Jun09), but the concert was cancelled late last week (ends12Jun09), along with a handful of other planned dates in the area.
The rapper is facing legal action from Canadian promoter Jerry Hong over the scrapped shows. Hong has said he will take the star to court to recoup losses of $20,000 (£13,335) if the gigs are not rescheduled.
But Flo Rida has reassured Hong and his loyal fans that the Canadian gigs will go ahead as soon as possible.
He tells BallerStatus.com, "I want to apologise to all my fans in Canada for having to cancel my shows this week. The cancellations were out of my control, but I plan to return to perform as soon as possible. Much love."
