FLIP BREAKS OUT OF SONY CONTRACT

Rapper LIL FLIP has won a major contract dispute with Sony Music Group bosses, allowing him to walk away with the master tapes of his upcoming album. The Houston, Texas rap star, real name WESLEY WESTON, fought for his freedom from Sony, claiming record label executives failed to realise his potential as an artist. The LEPRECHAUN hitmaker's attorney and manager, SANDY LAL, says, "Flip and I are ecstatic. Our relationship with Sony has been quite fruitful but I've always believed that Flip's potential is virtually unlimited, and we're really eager to take it to the next level. "Being able to walk away with the masters to I NEED MINE is an absolute victory."
