FISHER BRINGS ONE-WOMAN PLAY TO BROADWAY

STAR WARS actress CARRIE FISHER is taking her one-woman play WISHFUL DRINKING to Broadway - almost three decades after making her New York stage debut.
The 52-year-old star, who also wrote the screenplay, first showcased the project in Los Angeles in 2006, before taking it to Washington, D.C. and Boston, Massachusetts.
But now the play, about coming of age in Hollywood, is coming to the Big Apple and Fisher will hit the stage at Studio 54 on 4 October (09).
