FINAL TOP OF THE POPS A FLOP FOR FANS
Filming of the last ever edition of seminal British music show TOP OF THE POPS descended into chaos last night (25JUL06), when half of the studio audience stormed out. Fans were furious to discover the show - which will air in the UK on Sunday (30JUL06) - includes no live acts and is made up of old clips of performances spanning Top Of The Pops' 42-year history. Halfway through the recording - in which clips of the SPICE GIRLS, MADONNA, BEYONCE KNOWLES and THE ROLLING STONES were shown - the studio was left almost empty. The show was hosted by veteran broadcaster SIR JIMMY SAVILLE - who presented the first ever Top Of The Pops in 1964 - and FEARNE COTTON.

half the audience did not dissapear...those who arrived stayed till the
end...about 150 of us and we all knew there was no live acts...it said on the
tickets. And Fern Cotton was never gonna be there...where do u get ur
information??
