FIELDER-CIVIL VOWS TO FIGHT FOR WINEHOUSE MARRIAGE

AMY WINEHOUSE's jailed husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL has dispelled rumours of an impending divorce after vowing to fight for his marriage in an emotional letter to the troubled singer. Winehouse was spotted arriving at a clinic in London on Tuesday (22Jan08) clutching the desperate note from her spouse, who is currently being held on remand in the city's Pentonville Prison. The letter reads, "Because I f**king believe in us we will get through this and our kiss will taste all the sweeter for time served." Winehouse's father Mitch sparked rumours the couple was heading for a messy divorce after revealing Fielder-Civil had threatened to end his eight-month marriage from behind bars. The singer's dad said Fielder-Civil made the threat during an argument with his daughter. But now it seems the pair is determined to work through their problems. In the note Fielder-Civil also insists he will be released from prison later in 2008. Before signing off, he adds, "I'm getting out this year." Fielder-Civil, 25, has pleaded not guilty to charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice and will stand trial in June (08). The 25-year-old is accused of attempting to fix the outcome of a previous trial for grievous bodily harm.
