FIELDER-CIVIL 'DROPS WINEHOUSE SETTLEMENT DEMAND'

AMY WINEHOUSE has reportedly convinced her ex-husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL to drop his demands for a $9 million (£6 million) divorce settlement.
The pair's two-year union was ended in July (09) after the Back to Black hitmaker admitted adultery, but her ex was allegedly keen to receive a mammoth pay-off to reflect his input into her 2006 breakthrough record.
The former couple met up in secret earlier this month (04Sep09) - and Winehouse made Fielder-Civil agree to give up his settlement claims, according to Britain's News of the World newspaper.
A source tells the publication, "They're still close and are working things out day by day in terms of the future. But Blake promised Amy not to ask for another penny from her."
