FIELD JOINS FLOCKART AND GRIFFITHS FOR FAMILY DRAMA

SALLY FIELD has signed on to play the mother of CALISTA FLOCKHART and RACHEL GRIFFITHS in the new US TV drama BROTHERS + SISTERS. The Oscar-winning actress has replaced EIGHT IS ENOUGH star BETTY BUCKLEY, who played the matriarch in the pilot. Field, who turns 60 in November (06), will play the mother of five adult children on the show, including ALIAS' BALTHAZAR GETTY, DAVE ANNABLE and Welsh newcomer MATTHEW RHYS. This will be Field's first regular primetime role since 2002's short-lived ABC drama THE COURT. She previously appeared on TV drama ER which netted her an Emmy award.
