FERRY DENIED BAIL

BRYAN FERRY's son OTIS is to spend Christmas behind bars after a judge turned down his latest bail request.
Otis Ferry was arrested in September (08) after his robbery and assault trial was adjourned when he allegedly tried to discredit a witness during the proceedings.
Ferry was subsequently remanded in prison in Gloucester, England, after pleading not guilty to two charges of perverting the course of justice.
The 26-year-old applied to be released on bail ahead of his trial, which is due to begin in March (09), but he was denied.
A second request was also turned down earlier this month (Dec08).
Lawyers for the star's son filed a third motion to have Ferry released on Monday (22Dec08), but a judge at Gloucester Crown Court in England refused to grant the order, meaning he could now remain in jail until his trial.
