FERRY CLEARED AFTER MILLER TESTIMONY

BRYAN FERRY's son OTIS has been cleared of criminal damage charges after British actress SIENNA MILLER testified at his trial. Ferry denied causing $1400 (GBP700) of damage to the cars of two photographers who were taking pictures of Miller leaving London nightclub Boujis last year (Feb07) with his brother Isaac - who she was rumoured to be dating at the time. The 25-year-old is alleged to have reached through the windows of both vehicles, removed the keys from the ignition and thrown them away. Factory Girl star Miller was called as a key witness and told West London Magistrates court on Monday (11Feb08) that the group felt "hunted" by the pursuing paparazzi. She says, "We were all quite shocked at the way they were driving. The reason they were being that reckless is that they wanted to find out where I lived, which makes you feel quite hunted as a woman. The star described the photographers' driving as "really aggressive, driving really dangerously, undercutting, overtaking, flashing through the window at a moving vehicle." She adds, "I believe it was particularly frenzied on this occasion because they didn't know where I lived." Miller had originally been scheduled to testify at the trial in November (07) but cancelled her appearance by text message citing work commitments for her no show. Judge David Simpson cleared Ferry of all charges, ruling that neither vehicle had been damaged by having the keys removed and described Ferry's tactics as "the impetuous actions of a young man helping his brother's girlfriend."
