Rock star BRYAN FERRY is waging war against the Mayor Of London over plans to turn a famous city landmark into a four-lane crossroads to make room for buses. The ROXY MUSIC frontman is furious Sloane Square in exclusive Chelsea is being threatened by KEN LIVINGSTONE and council members in a multi-million pound redevelopment plan, and accuses the planners of unnecessary meddling. He says, "First they make the buses too big, now they want to turn Sloane Square into a crossroads. "Everybody who lives round there says it's great how it is.
