FERGUSON: 'ROYALS RUINED MY MARRIAGE TO PRINCE ANDREW'

Former British royal SARAH FERGUSON has blamed royal aides for ruining her marriage to PRINCE ANDREW. The Duchess of York - who married the prince in 1986 - says officials at Buckingham Palace forced her husband to leave her to serve with the Royal Navy. She says, "The deal was that we were going to get married and I'd go and live at port with him in a cottage. "But two weeks after we got married, the grey men said, 'No, you can go to Buckingham Palace and Andrew you can go to sea for the next five years - goodbye. "Inside I was thinking, 'Don't take him away from me. He is the one person who believes in me." Ferguson and Prince Andrew divorced in 1996 following the birth of their daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
