The Black Eyed Peas singer says whenever she is feeling down she knows the comments her admirers leave for her on the band's website will help improve her mood.

She said: "My fans have supported me, even when there are people on the internet who have nothing nice to say, and I really appreciate that. If I'm having a bad day I will definitely go on our website and look at what fans are saying. They always make me smile and help me a little bit. You know when you're worried about gaining a few pounds or feeling ugly, or any of those things that normal girls go through? They just really help the self-esteem."

Fergie - who is married to actor Josh Duhamel - refuses to read bad things said about her on the internet because it upsets her.

She added to Britain's more! magazine: "A lot of things internet bloggers say are just their opinions, really. You know, they have their opinions, it's just I don't like to read them because it hurts my feelings."
