Harry Potter star Tom Felton has paid an emotional visit to Nazi death camp Auschwitz - calling the trip "mentally painful".
The British actor travelled to the site of the former concentration camp in Poland on Tuesday (11May10), the place where an estimated 1.1 million people died during World War II.
And he admits he found the moving experience "hard", but insists his fans should visit the site to witness the true horror of Nazi tyranny.
In a post on his Twitter.com blog, Felton writes, "I went to Poland yesterday, went to Auschwitz, it was a very hard and mentally painful day, however I'm so happy I've been and seen all the camps. I'm completely aware of what went on only a generation ago. I recommend everyone to go, it's something we should all see."
