FATBOY SLIM CANCELS HOME TOWN GIG

DJ FATBOY SLIM has cancelled his fifth annual Big Beach Boutique party in his home town of Brighton, England.
The star's management has blamed his busy summer schedule for the cancellation of this September's Big Beach Boutique, but have assured fans that the 2010 bash would be bigger and better.
A spokesperson for the DJ's management says, "We've decided to take the year off. Norman has a packed schedule for the summer and we wanted to sit back and give ourselves time to come up with some new ideas to make the next show even better. We'll definitely see you all in 2010."
The cancellation comes after Fatboy Slim - real name Norman Cook - spent time in rehab earlier this year (09) to battle an addiction to alcohol.
In April (09), Cook cancelled his appearance at Snowboarding festival Snowbombing as he was still receiving treatment to beat his demons.
Cook first staged the beach rave in 2001, and its success led to subsequent events in 2002, 2007 and 2008.
