FASHION DESIGNER TAKES ON CITY OFFICIALS OVER FENCE LAWS
French fashion designer CHRISTIAN AUDIGIER is taking Los Angeles city officials to court over what he insists is a ridiculous fence law.
The man behind the Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier clothing lines has been told he has to cut down his fence in accordance with height laws, but he is defiant.
In a lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles on Thursday (03Sep09) and obtained by TMZ.com, angry Audigier claims other houses in the neighbourhood have tall fences.
He is suing the city for $1 million (£666,000).
