BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER is reportedly heading back to the small screen in animated form - plans are afoot for a cartoon version of the blood-sucking series. A big screen return for the hit franchise was recently confirmed by movie executives, 17 years after Kristy Swanson starred in the original film, which spawned the cult TV show starring Sarah Michelle Gellar.
