LIEV SCHREIBER is in talks to join ANGELINA JOLIE in spy thriller SALT. The film's title has been shortened from EDWINA SALT, but it began as a vehicle for TOM CRUISE, called EDWIN A. SALT. Jolie will play the title character, a CIA officer who’s accused by a defector of being a Russian sleeper spy. Filming begins in New York next month (Mar09), according to Moviehole.net.
