FARROW LETS OTHERS PAY TRIBUTE TO HER BROTHER

MIA FARROW has paid tribute to her late brother by posting tribute stories about his passing on her website.
Artist Patrick Farrow committed suicide at his home in Vermont on Monday (15Jun09) and his actress sister has chosen to mark the tragedy with the words of others.
The star has reprinted the death story from the Associated Press and the thoughts of locals, who knew her brother, rather than using her website to pay a personal tribute.
In a piece, titled Remembering Patrick Farrow, fan and friend Yvonne Daley writes, "Patrick really looked at you. He could be impish. He loved to tell stories, but he often started them in the middle, leaving you to rush to catch up."
She concludes, "Patrick's head needed to be huge. It held that abyss and also an encyclopedia of odd and useless information, historical data, conspiracy theories, odd combinations of current events, motorcycle statistics, the number of civilians killed in the Gaza Strip, not to mention opinions. He could be blunt. He could be mean. But he was immensely generous, both personally and globally."

I will never forget the day I drove to patrick farrow's gallery in VT. I went to see a bronze statue, I had previously seen elsewhere. The first time I saw " The Last Laugh" I fell in love with it. Patrick said to me "Paul I just don't want rich people to buy my art, I want everyone who is as passionate as you are about my art to be able to own it. " He allowed me to write out how ever many checks for as many months it took to purchase it. He allowed me to take "the last laugh" home with me that day. It is still my favorite art work. We stayed in touch every since. He will be greatly misswd
