FARRELL PLANS PARTY SCENE AT LOLLAPALOOZA

Rocker PERRY FARRELL is to create his own party venue at this weekend's (07-09Aug09) Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago, Illinois.
The Jane's Addiction frontman, who founded the event in 1991, has set aside a large area of Grant Park for his Perry's open-air nightclub.
The rocker will perform a DJ set there with his dancer wife Etty Lau alongside electro acts like Simian Mobile Disco, Kaskade, Animal Collective, MSTRKRFT and Deadmau5.
Farrell is also hoping to upgrade his entrance at the three-day event: "There are a few things we never got on my long Lollapalooza wish list. A hot air balloon, a helicopter... Well this year, damn it, I am getting my helicopter."
As well as Jane's Addiction, acts billed to perform at Lollapalooza 2009 include Depeche Mode, Tool, The Killers, Kings of Leon and Lou Reed.
