FARRELL: 'LOLLAPALOOZA WILL BE A SELL OUT'

PERRY FARRELL's Lollapalooza festival is recession proof. Like the weekend's Coachella event in California, the Chicago, Illinois musical get together is selling out.
And Farrell, who performed at Coachella on Sunday (19Apr09), insists festivals offer music fans the perfect escape from troubled financial times.
He says, "We're selling more tickets than ever. People need an even bigger excuse to escape more than ever and there is no better escape than going to a festival and just tripping and taking in music."
Farrell's reformed Jane's Addiction will be among the headliners at Lollapalooza 2009, which will take place on 7-9 August (09). The full line-up will be announced on Tuesday (21Apr09).
