FARRAH & O'NEAL MISSED OUT ON MARRIAGE DEADLINE

FARRAH FAWCETT and RYAN O'NEAL planned to wed in Germany this spring (09) but organisers couldn't arrange the big day in time.
A longtime pal of the cancer-riddled Charlie's Angels star admits she was given the job of trying to cut through red tape to plan the wedding during one of Fawcett's trips to Europe, where she has been receiving cutting edge treatment.
Joan Dangerfield tells U.S. news show Extra, "They thought about getting married in Germany. They had me check into all the laws to see if that was possible... but we just didn’t get it together in time."
Meanwhile, the pal reports Fawcett's health and appetite is improving.
Dangerfield explains, "I did take a nun to see her and a bishop... and they prayed and the nun gave her a little rosary... and shortly after, she felt so good she sent me on an errand to Mastro’s to buy a steak and creamed corn and we came back and sat around the bed and had a little dinner.
"I was wearing a really cute pair of designer boots that are on special order and she asked me to get her some... I told her it would take about two months and she said, 'Great'."
