FANNING'S FRIENDSHIP DOUBTS
Teenage actress DAKOTA FANNING has made "lifelong friends" during her time at school - but often wonders whether they only like her because of her fame.
The 14-year-old shot to stardom in 2001's I Am Sam and has since starred alongside Tom Cruise and Julia Roberts.
She continued to attend to school around filming schedules - but it has left Fanning fearing the possibility people only made friends with her because of her film career.
She tells Britain's Daily Telegraph, "I wonder whether they like me just because they like a movie I'm in or whether they like me.
"But I don't think you can be too cautious with people. You have to kind of let them in and not assume anything about them before you actually get to know them.
"I've made some great friends and they've all been very genuine and I think I'll have them forever."
