FANNING STEPS DOWN FROM MY SISTER'S KEEPER ROLE
Child star DAKOTA FANNING has pulled out of new movie MY SISTER'S KEEPER - because she isn't prepared to shave her head. The War Of The Worlds star, 13, was set to star in the forthcoming Nick Cassavetes film, about a young girl who files for legal separation from her parents after discovering she was only conceived to help prolong the life of her sick sister. But Fanning withdrew from the project after learning the role would require her to lose her blonde locks, reports industry publication Variety. And the teen is not the only one to quit My Sister's Keeper - her nine-year-old sister Elle has also pulled out of the movie. They will now be replaced by Sofia Vassilieva and Abigail Breslin as the elder and younger siblings, respectively.
