FAMILY 'PREDICAMENT' FORCES CRAHAN TO PULL OUT OF SLIPKNOT TOUR
SLIPKNOT star SHAWN CRAHAN will skip the remainder of the masked rockers' Canadian tour due to a "terrible" family crisis.
The percussionist, also known as Clown, was missing from the band's line-up when they played in Toronto, Ontario on Friday (01May09).
Explaining Crahan's absence, singer Corey Taylor told the crowd, "You may have noticed that we are missing one of our brothers tonight. It's unfortunate to say, that unfortunately, Clown cannot be here tonight.
"He's having a very terrible, terrible predicament going on in his family so he had to fly out yesterday afternoon."
Details of the family incident have not been released, but Crahan has previously missed a number of Slipknot gigs to care for his sick wife, who suffers from Crohn's disease, a gastrointestinal ailment.
