FALL OUT BOY RECORD SIMPSONS THEME
Rockers FALL OUT BOY have returned to their roots to revamp the theme to the cartoon series which gave them their name.
The group has re-recorded Danny Elfman's Simpsons theme.
The band took its name from the name of a fictional comic book superhero sidekick, who appeared on the show in the mid-1990s.
Fall Out Boy's heavy metal version of the iconic theme debuted on Sunday (25Jan09) in America.
The band isn't the first to tackle Elfman's theme - Yo La Tengo, Sonic Youth, Los Lobos and Green Day have all recorded the tune.
