FALCO FELT BAD ABOUT E.R. RESEARCH
THE SOPRANOS star EDIE FALCO felt awkward researching her new TV role as NURSE JACKIE in a real hospital - because she just kept getting in the way.
The actress decided to hang out in emergency rooms to get a sense of what real nurses go through as they attend to the sick, but she quickly realised that the last thing ill people want to see when they're in need of medical care is an actress.
She tells WENN, "I actually felt very obtrusive, wandering through an emergency room. It wasn’t cute.
"I felt like, 'This is the most awful day in the lives of these people, and I’m hanging around, trying to see how they do an I.V.' It was just messed up. I felt terrible about it. That’s why I left."
