FAITHFULL: 'LIFE IS PRECIOUS AFTER CANCER BATTLE'

Singer and actress MARIANNE FAITHFULL has vowed to make the most of her life after winning her battle with breast cancer. The British star was forced to postpone her world tour when she was diagnosed with the disease last September (06) - but was given the all-clear from doctors at the end of 2006. She says, "(I feel) more than ever the preciousness of life. I've been feeling the preciousness of life for many years, since I got off drugs and came to my senses. "Still, turning 60 and having a scare like that - you either get it or you don't. This is real." And Faithfull admits the experience has given her a new determination to live life to the fullest. She adds, "I want to see my grandchildren grow up. I want to be there for my friends. I want to be able to love the person in my life. I want to work. I want to do something I've never done, which is save money. I've never bought anything. I have nothing."
