EVERETT SLAMS SURGERY CLAIMS AS 'LAUGHABLE'

RUPERT EVERETT has vehemently denied accusations he has undergone cosmetic surgery - following a string of internet rumours suggesting he had a facelift.
A picture of the actor looking noticeably fresh-faced and wrinkle-free surfaced online earlier this week (beg13Apr09) following the star's recent appearance on Rachael Ray's U.S. TV show.
The image has fuelled speculation that Everett, 49, has resorted to drastic measures in a bid to gain a more youthful appearance.
But a spokesman for the star is adamant he has not undergone any cosmetic procedures.
The rep tells British newspaper the Daily Mail, "Why would Rupert need any surgery? He's a beautiful man. Any speculation is completely laughable. He hasn't had anything done and he doesn't need it."
