EVEN SPREAD AT KERRANG! AWARDS
There was an even spread of award winners at this years Kerrang! awards at the Brewery in London.
US emo rockers My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy all scooped a gong, as did St Albans outfit Enter Shikari.
Welsh rockers Lostprophets picked up the best British band award for the second year in a row, beating off stiff competition from newer acts.
The annual 'hall of fame' and 'classic' awards were picked up by Judas Priest and Deftones respectively.
Judas Preach have sold about 30 million albums worldwide and have continued to play live since they began in 1968.
The rock magazine's awards were voted for by readers and editor Paul Brannigan thanked those who participated.
"We'd like to thank the tens of thousands of you who cast your votes in this year's awards; our bands are incredibly lucky to be able to enjoy such loyal support," he told the magazine's website.
