EVANS SIGNS UP FOR PINTER PLAY
British funnyman LEE EVANS is embracing a departure from comedy to star in dark HAROLD PINTER play THE DUMB WAITER.
The THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY star has appeared on stage before, wowing audiences in SAMUEL BECKETT's ENDGAME in 2004.
His latest venture will see him play a killer awaiting confirmation of the identity of his next hit.
The play opens in London next month (02FEB07).
