EVANS JOINS TEENA MARIE ON NEW TRACK
Hip-hop star FAITH EVANS and disco queen TEENA MARIE have teamed up to record a new song after meeting in a Los Angeles park.
The two divas were attending a barbecue, thrown by a mutual pal, when they struck up conversation and became instant friends.
And when Marie was looking to add another voice to her new track Can't Last A Day, she called on Evans to join her in the studio.
Both women are famous for romancing icons - Evans was married to late rap king Notorious B.I.G. and Marie dated funk superstar Rick James.
Evans admits she's thrilled to be part of a Teena Marie project: "My mom used to have all the Rick James albums. I loved to read the credits, and there are certain things I will always remember from just reading Teena's name... I thought I knew her."
