EVANS FEARS SECOND BREAKDOWN

British funnyman LEE EVANS could be on course for a second breakdown after admitting he's failed to learn lessons from the first. The THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY star suffered a mental collapse after winning the prestigious Perrier Comedy Award in 1993. But despite being advised to take a rest, Lee maintains his neuroses and insecurities will always keep him working hard. He says, "I have this feeling: you're just not good enough. It's a sort of yearning. I strive to be good enough, I suppose. Actually, really, in your soul, you're never going to change. That's it - you're always going to go after that thing that motivates you. You've been conditioned to do it since your early life. "So when you have a breakdown or whatever, you're never going to get rid of that niggling, burning desire. It's impossible. And anyway, you can't stifle an individual like that. If you met WOODY ALLEN and said, 'Chill!' and he listened to you, he's ruined."
