ESTELLE QUIT U.K. OVER ANNOYING PHONE CALLS

R+B sensation ESTELLE moved to New York from London because she grew tired of early morning phone calls.
The American Boy hitmaker was signed to John Legend's Homeschool Records label last year (07) and spent the first few months shuttling between her home in the U.K. and the Big Apple.
But because of the time difference between the U.S. and the U.K., she repeatedly received long-distance phone calls in the middle of the night - prompting her to rethink her London living arrangements.
She says, "They just kept calling me at dumb times at night, like, four in the morning... I was like, 'You know what, let me just go there.'
"It was kind of a waste of my time, flying back and forth, as well as a waste of money."
