ESSEX SCARED THE PUBLIC WILL TIRE OF HIM
British crooner DAVID ESSEX has vowed to cut back on his workload - because he's scared the public will tire of his talents. The 60-year-old singer is keen to steer clear of media attention for fear of 'boring' his fans. He says, "I am trying to do (music promotion) less. I hate the idea of outstaying my welcome by hanging on too long so that people get fed up with me." But Essex concedes he is still keen to recruit new fans with his performance in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Aspects of Love. He adds, "It would be nice to think that people who have never seen me in my rock show will also come to Aspects of Love and vice versa. It's all about communication, after all."
