ESSEX LOVES GROWING OLD

Singer DAVID ESSEX is glad he is growing old - because he no longer gets recognised by fans.
The 61-year-old claims losing his dark locks has enabled him to have more freedom.
He explains, "It's so much easier for me to wander round than it used to be.
"My old face was photographed so much through the Seventies and Eighties that everyone knew me when I wandered about.
"But as age has matured me, it's a lot easier."
