ESCOBAR'S 'SON' SEEKS STARDOM AS RAPPER
Relatives of late Colombian drug lord PABLO ESCOBAR are disputing a budding rap star's claim to be his son.
The man calling himself Juan Pablo Escobar reveals he was inspired to pursue a career in hip hop after discovering that Oliver Stone is making a movie about his "father" and that rapper Nas has called himself Nas Escobar, reports the New York Daily News.
The 33-year-old maintains he had been living with his mother in Argentina before seeking the spotlight in the U.S., and insists he's never taken part in his alleged family's cocaine business.
But Escobar Sr's brother, Roberto, insists the rapper is an imposter - because the real Juan Pablo Escobar is two years younger and isn't bald.
He says, "I had (my sister-in-law) Maria at my house eight months ago. She never mentioned a son in America. How would he get a visa to enter the United States? Also, Juan Pablo is 31 and has a full head of hair."
But a spokesperson for the hopeful star insists he is the real deal, telling the Daily News, "He's furious that he's being questioned. Our position is that he is who is."

Your full of BS. This guy was born in Costa Rica and have no connection to
Escobar.
Escobar's only son was granted a legal change of name by the government of
Colombia, is an architect and lives a very low key life in Argentina.
Trust me, I know the real son for years. He went through a lot. There is
nothing to be celebrated.
You are making a decent guy who is trying to fix his life look like an idiot.
Shame on you.

That is his son. Robero and Juan Pablo don’t get along because of personal
conflicts. I live in Colombia and work fork the biggest colombian tv network
and have always suppoted The Escobar Family. Juan Pablo aka Pablo Escobar Jr
came into the United States with a political family from Costa Rica to
legitimize himself and stop living in persecution. His father’s movie is
“Killing Pablo”
I had the pleasure to interview Pablo Escobar’s mother before she died
“Hermilda Gaviria”. She did mention that alot of what Juan Pablo’s uncle
Roberto Escobar is says is not very accurate with what is really going on in
the Escobar Family nowadays. Movie Director Antoine Fuqua, who hasn’t made a
good film since 2001’s “Training Day” (and that was largely due to Denzel
Washington’s performance) will be directing the eloquently and imaginatively
titled “Escobar”. Based on “Mi Hermano Pablo”, the story follows the
perspective Roberto Escobar Gaviria who served as his infamous brother’s
accountant and confidant. Juan Pablo and Roberto have been having conflicts
because of this.
