ESCH DENIES RAMMSTEIN RUMOURS

LATEST: EN ESCH has slammed reports he is to replace TILL LINDEMANN as singer in German rock band RAMMSTEIN. In a statement reportedly issued by the band's management company on Monday (16Jul07), it was announced Lindemann had left the band and former KMFDM star Esch was to take his place. On Tuesday (17Jul07), the band assured fans the press release was an elaborate hoax, and now Esch has confirmed this too. In a posting on his band Slick Idiot's website he says, "Although it sounds interesting, it is not true. Rammstein and I are and will stay friends and I wish them the best in their future endeavours."
