ERMEY: 'I WON'T WORK WITH FINCHER AGAIN'
Actor R LEE ERMEY has ruled out working with director DAVID FINCHER again after the film-maker refused to let him improvise during the shooting of SE7EN. Ermey, best known for his role as a drill instructor in FULL METAL JACKET, described Fincher as "a little chicken s**t" shortly after the 1995 release of Se7en. The 62-year-old says, "As far as I'm concerned, if a director won't even listen to an actor, that's a black mark. "Fincher stuck to the script even when actors came up with ideas that were 10 times better. "One of the most important aspects of acting is bringing something to the f**king table. And most actors don't. They just show up, the director says, 'Action,' they say the words the writer has written, and, for them, that's good enough. "But it's never good enough for me."
