ERIC BANA EMBARRASSED TO BE NUDE

Eric Bana insisted someone stayed on the set of 'The Time Traveler's Wife' to carry his clothing to ensure he wouldn't be naked for too long.

Eric Bana had an assistant to cover his manhood in between scenes for 'The Time Traveler's Wife'.

The 40-year-old star had to shoot several sequences in the nude and found it embarrassing stripping off in front of the film crew.

Eric ensured he didn't reveal too much once the cameras stopped rolling by having someone on standby to give him something to wear.

He said: "I made sure I didn't turn around so the camera got everything and I also made sure someone had my clothing very close by at all times. I never thought I would have to drop my drawers but I did.

"I just tried to do exactly what I was told. I just tried to get them done as quickly as possible and get on with the rest of the day."

Eric - who plays librarian Henry DeTamble, who involuntarily travels through time in his new movie - recently revealed he only agreed to the naked scenes because he was told it was scientifically accurate.

He said: "The movie's very romantic. Henry's just a guy who's in love and I think that's a masculine thing.

"We had a time travelling expert on the set who said that for a fact if Henry were to time travel he would be naked. We just had to take his word for it."
