Rapper EMINEM is backing U.S. presidential hopeful BARACK OBAMA for the White House in the hope he will rectify the mistakes of current leader GEORGE W. BUSH.
The Stan hitmaker is throwing his weight behind Obama to scoop the presidency when America votes next month (Nov08) - because the U.S. "needs something to change".
He tells the BBC, "I'll vote for Barack. I can't get too political because I don't know enough (about the candidates' policies).
"I mean, I know we are going into a recession. Pardon the cliché but we need something to change. I think Barack would be a breath of fresh air, to get in there and actually get what's left of the Bush administration out the door."
