EMBRACE SNUBBED BY BECKHAMS

British rockers EMBRACE were stunned when celebrity couple DAVID and VICTORIA BECKHAM declined to invite them to their World Cup party - even though the band were singing the official England song at the soccer tournament. Embrace's track WORLD AT YOUR FEET was chosen by England soccer bosses to accompany the then-team captain Beckham and his fellow players as they played in Germany earlier this summer (JUN-JUL06). When the Beckhams invited sports stars and celebrities to their England country mansion for their pre-World Cup party, Embrace were disappointed when they didn't receive invitations. Drummer MIKE HEATON says, "We were surprised when we weren't invited to Posh's house. "We did sit with the (players') wives (at the games) though and it was funny. They told us to sit down because we kept jumping up."
