ELTON POSES WITH DOGS FOR CHARITY CALENDAR

SIR ELTON JOHN has been photographed by ROD STEWART's fiancee PENNY LANCASTER for a 2007 calendar to raise money for a British animal charity. The ROCKET MAN singer is pictured with his two cocker spaniels, Arthur and Marilyn, in the annual Pet Pawtraits calendar published by PDSA (People's Dispensary For Sick Animals). Former model Lancaster also took pictures of pop mogul SIMON COWELL and Scottish singer LULU, among others, with their pets for the fundraising project. And Stewart also features, posing with the couple's Labrador, Mrs Potts. Lancaster says, "Animals and photography are two of my biggest passions. It's been immense fun and I'm amazed at how well behaved the animals were."
