ELLIOTT & MICHAELS FRIENDS AGAIN

DEF LEPPARD star JOE ELLIOTT and rocker BRET MICHAELS patched up their differences via email and are now heading out on tour together.
The pair briefly fell out in 2008 when Elliott called Michaels' group Poison a "s**te band" in an interview, but the two singers quickly became friends again during an online chat.
Michaels tells Rolling Stone magazine, "Joe and I emailed each other right after that and we straightened things out.
"I told Joe, 'Look, I have enough problems fighting with my own band. I can’t take on anything else. I can’t fight everybody. I grew up loving your music and you guys are awesome.'
"He wrote back, 'I’m sorry, mate. It was a bad day for me and they asked me some off the wall questions.'"
Poison and Def Leppard are now planning to hit the road together this summer (09).
