Elizabeth Hurley regrets quitting films and hopes to act again one day if she can fit it in with bringing up son Damian.

Elizabeth Hurley is desperate to get back into movies.

The 'Bedazzled' actress - who is married to businessman Arun Nayar and has a seven-year-old son Damian from a previous relationship - misses her old career and would love to squeeze a film project into her busy life.

She said: "I really miss it. I decided I couldn't do movies for a while, which was a huge decision for me because I actually love making movies more than anything. But I didn't want to be abroad filming all the time and away from my son and neither did I want to take Damian out of school to travel with me and be educated on the road.

"But if a great movie came up in the school holidays, I'd take it like a shot!"

However, the 43-year-old model and businesswoman - who has just launched a bikini clothing store in Bicester Village, Oxfordshire - says her days are hectic enough at the moment with the added pressure of looking good.

She explained: "I started a new exercise regime last week, which has included a fast, 40-minute walk every day and Pilates twice a week. I'm planning my summer vacations and it's spurred me on. I'm trying not to eat too late and to stop pinching my son's sweeties!"
